BEHIND THE LENS, Christian Rodas
I'm usually described as the "nice guy" or the "creative guy." As a civil engineer, the "nice guy" felt comfortable, but with all of the rules and regulations, the "creative guy" felt unfulfilled.
So, I started dabbling in videography and quickly fell in love (pun intended) with the happiness and excitement of weddings.
I have worked alongside numerous wedding planners and photographers, capturing the footage I need without getting in the way or disrupting the spontaneity of the moment.

I have a natural love of photographing people and moments as they are. My background in street photography and street-style fashion photography makes me quick with the shutter and great at noticing everything around me.
I’d define my style as candid, as-it-is, make-your-heart-tickle photography. My approach? I’d like to think of it as a fine balance between guided portraits and fly-on-the-wall documenting. Genuine moments will naturally flow during these special days, and my goal is to gently nudge where needed and just capture as much as I can.
